Mrs. Duffey was born in Chambers County May 7, 1949 to the late Floyd Sims and the late Resa Osborne Sims, she was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Lanett, Alabama and was a homemaker.

 She is survived by her husband Bruce Duffey of Lanett, Al., 3 children Brenda (Steve) Booker of Lanett, Al., Bobby Duffey of Beulah, Al., Terry Duffey of Beulah, Al., 1 sister Barbara Smith of Lanett, Al., 4 brothers Lamar Sims of Lanett, Al., Clifford Sims of Lanett, Al., James Sims of Beulah, Al., David Sims of Atlanta, Ga.,  9 grandchildren   5 great grandchildren
