Happy Birthday my sweet "not friend". Jeff and I would joke about that because our relationship was indescribable. That word, like the word love is used so trivially we just referred to each other as "not friend". While Jeff could tell you the exact moment we met in high school and what I said to him, I cannot. But what I can say is that it was one of the best moments of my life. Jeff was branded into my heart. Jeff was an inspiration to many. He was loyal. He was laughter. He saw the world with wonder. He was a vast array of color. He was love.  As others have stated, life happens. Jeff married someone other than me #@$%! and we lost track of each other. For years I searched for him and later I learned, he for me. I prayed the Lord would allow our paths to cross again, and they did. I thank God for our time together and want to take a moment to remind each of you reading this that life is but a vapor, here today and gone tomorrow. Draw your loved ones close and your enemies closer. Do good to all. Be the light that shines in the darkness. The world became dimmer once Jeff left. Happy Birthday!
