A brothers bond
When chris and i got married we went to the courthouse in ky. We didnt tell anyone what we were up to. My dad and one of christophers coworkers from tristar were are witnesses. I had a pampered chef party planned for that evening at our new house. Jeremy was the only person who showed up that night. Chris went and picked him up. He was always reliable like that. When i first met Christopher, jeremy was always around. We were nicknamed three peas in a pod. I was their third wheel. Looking back now i am so blessed to have been allowed into their club. Their bond is incredible. Nothing seperated those two boys. Jeremy helped us eat the feast we had prepared for the party and within a hour of being there he had me smiling and laughing. He told me that the important people were there. He is my husbands best friend and became a brother to me. I will never forget staying up all night watching those two playing video games. I was thinking how crazy addicted they were to those games. Looking back now i realize it wasnt the games that kept them up it was the companionship. A brothers bond is irreplaceable. Jeremy extended that friendship to me. I will never forget all those days just hanging out spending time with each other watching swamp people, ice road truckers. I cant think of the name of the one show were we learned about noodling. We could spend hours just hanging out.
Camping
Jeremy gave me the nickname peetree because the very 1st time we went camping together I told him and Chris to stay away from my pee spot. From there on out I was always called peetree. Thanks Jeremy!
One time when we were on the river bank, chica and I were babysitting the fishing poles when I saw a snake swimming. I flipped out and took off running away from the bank. Chica, wonderful protector that she is, ran with me. Lol Jeremy decided he was going to catch this swimming snake. He reeled in the fishing pole then cast it back out hitting the snake! He pulled it onto shore where we discovered that it was only a black snake. Jeremy and Chris assured me black snakes are the good ones so against my opinion they released him.
Jeremy also taught me how to skin and fillet our catfish. It's an ugly job but needs to be done.
Another camping trip Chris caught an eel on his line. It was awesome! We always had so much fun on the river bank. I never knew no electronics could be fun.
When the barges would float by Jeremy and Chris would cuss them for possibly tangling their lines. Then the stories would come about when Jeremy worked on the boats and would be gone for a few months then come back. Never a dull moment while we were out camping.
It's not ever going to be the same, camping with out you bub!
