Ever since I could remember, we (myself, Ray, Tom, Art, and Oscar) played a sport at Fries Ave Elem.  Summer was over the line base ball.  Jerry always hit home runs over the bungalows.  The hot black top was tough on the feet.  Fall was football in front of the school.  The thorny bushes and flag pole was rough on the body.  Then there was baskeball, I could never figure out how such a short guy could dunk the basket.
