Her Life
March 2, 2018

Mrs. Smith was born February 27, 1948 in Vallejo, California to the late Jesse Hoyt Spinks and Ruth Smith. She was a member of Glenloch Baptist Church.

She had a big heart and a genuine love for others. She often did without so that she could help someone else that had an urgent need. She was able to assist many families in their later years through her job as a senior services counselor for Three Rivers Regional Commission.

She dearly loved her family, and enjoyed getting together for dinner. She especially liked to cook and try new recipes. She held a special place in her heart for her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her dog, Lula.

Survivors include: three sons: Jason Smith (Heather) of Clermont, GA, Jeff Smith of Carrollton, and David Smith (Suzanne) of Carrollton; one daughter, Katherine Smith of Dallas, GA; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three sisters: Pat Shumake (Richard) of Franklin, Beth East (Rodney) of Roopville, and Donna Smith (Sherri) of Roopville; two brothers: James Spinks (Brenda) of Brooks, GA and Aubrey Spinks of Centralhatchee; and a number of other relatives and friends.
