You came along late in my life but the time we had together surpassed all that came before you.

We had many great journeys together, the memories are still so vivid of your determination and courage, sometimes in the face of adversity you soldiered on and made our time together so memorable.

A keen lawn bowler who taught me that patience has it's rewards. Your ever present courage on full display every time you took to the green, whether with the prosthetic leg and then the inevitable wheelchair, but nothing could diminish your determination. You were my inspiration that can never be replaced.

You were loved by all that knew you as I did.

A true gentleman. 

Passed on too young, life really had only just begun for us, 20 years was not enough but you will live in my heart forever.
