Jo. It’s been 5 years, and I still miss you. I know you wanted me to call you Jolie, but you’ll always be Jo, my little sister. I love you.

Jo was my younger sister. Because we lived on opposite sides of the country, we didn't see each other often, but we had long telephone conversations - at least once a month - about family, politics, religion, activities, anything on our minds.

She was vivacious, with expressive, flashing eyes. She was strong, independent, and loyal to family and friends. She made friends easily. Through organizations she belonged to she had a very positive effect on many people.

Jo's husband, Jim, died 23 years, to the day, before she did. God grant that they're happily together again.

I will forever miss you, Jo.

My sweet Aunt Jo - always smiling and bubbly; soft spoken but full of adventure and fun! Thank you for being you and following your own path in life. Your memory will live on in my heart.

She was welcome through every door into the world of the spirit. And with a laugh that let you know that you had just said the funniest thing that had ever been said. She was the baby sister. Elizabeth Taylor. My first introduction to yoga. I was not ready for her to go.

Jolie is an incredible lady, she was the most spiritual person I know. She has always inspired me and always will! She will truly be missed. But never forgotten.
