Joan, thank you for the kind of friendship that makes you feel like you are part of the family. I will never forgot walking into Lisa's store years ago. My life had taken a few crazy turns. You sat me down, in that inimitable Joan style, "You said, make this right, not for anybody else, but yourself". She further explained that each person has to be happy on their own, and assured me that getting involved in a hobby beyond work was the answer. She reminded me in those times, to clean my house. We spent hours debating, discussing, laughing, gossiping, discussing writing books, and having amazing girl talks. When I think of you, I think of that always energy
