We will truly miss a good friend and neighbor! Joan was that neighbor that we look forward to having but hardly find, anymore! She was friendly, cared about the neighborhood, was always willing to help keep an eye on things in our absence, exhibited a caring heart for us as well as others. One thing I will truly miss is our lengthy conversations across the fence.  We truly appreciated her as a friend and I am so glad that she was the neighbor that my family was blessed with!   Suzette Washington and family

Dear Friend and Cousin
Precious cousin, I've always loved you dearly,
As a friend and sincerely
If tears could build a stairway
And thoughts a memory lane
I'd walk right up to Heaven
Erase your pain and bring you home

My dear cousin
It broke my heart when I heard
God needed you
From this world you left
It pleases me to know that
A piece of my heart ❤️ is what you kept
Luckily for me I kept a piece of your heart to

I'll be here cherishing the memories and conversations
That death couldn't steal
I love you past eternity
Rest In Peace Joan
