Bye-bye wonderful Mummy. No matter how long anyone may live in this sinful world, we all have that inevitable debt, that is, Death, to pay. However, to me, it seems that it has been too soon for you to embark on this Eternal journey, considering how good you were to humanity.
Frankly, I am still very much at sea to comprehend the reality that you have gone for good and therefore, I will no longer hear your inspiring voice anymore as I used to, when we spoke regularly on the phone. Mummy, you were such a wonderful, caring, loving, humble and God-fearing mother.
Your seed of respect for all and sundry, honesty and humility par excellence can visibly be seen as imparted to all your children whom l have had occassion to interact with and without any regret.
For example, since I met Mrs [Dns] Sola Sofowora, who happens to be one of the very responsible Ministers of our Ministry for over a decade now, and that was even before God brought me to know you, l immediately saw the humble upbringing she had from Mummy & Daddy Dosumu when I finally met with you.
I can still remember vividly how you demonstrated your motherly love and care on me during one of my visits to Nigeria when I visited your house in Lagos. You indeed spoilt me by overloading with assorted foodstuff gifts for my family back in South Africa as if you were the producer of them, but then, that was how generous you were.
Mummy, there is no doubt that our association with you was indeed very short but your memory will remain evergreen in my family. I am sure that at resurrection, we shall all meet to part no more in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.
Congratulations for having come to the market (the world) to do your bit of 'trading' and you have successfully completed your own assignment and have now returned home in peace.
Goodnight wonderful Mummy as you rest perfectly in God's bossom.
For and on behalf of Dele & Margaret BRAIMOH. [South Africa]
