Joy, Brett and I want you to know how much we love you and Joe and will really miss him especially at poker and will miss hearing a new "joe story". He was special and caring...and I liked talking Spurs with him and going to the golf tournament with him. Hope to visit with you soon and please let me know what I can do to help,
Love you Brett and RB

Joy, We are old fashioned and still get the newspaper. Saw Joe's life tribute
and just attended the service on line. What a great, kind, loving man.
We really miss the old times with our kids too growing up on Cradlewood.
His smile lives on. Remarkable man that has really touched our hearts during
these problematic times.

Uncle Joe, you have always embodied grace and loving kindness! Thank you for radiating out your love, concern, kindness, laughter and loyalty to your family, friends, co-workers and even strangers. I have always looked up to you and will continue to reflect on your legacy of love and service. The world is a better place because you lived and loved. I'm honored to have been your niece. Thank you!
Sending all my love and prayers to Aunt Joy, cousins Jimmy, Jerald and Brit, Uncle John, and my mom. I can't imagine how difficult this must be for each of you. Holding you in my heart, always.
Love, Alexa

This is very hard. Joe and I were Best Friends. We have been there for each other for over thirty years. We have laughed, cried, worried and prayed together. We have literally spent thousands of hours talking.
There is no kinder or loving man than Joe. He always thought first of someone else. He was always telling me that he had picked up another lost soul and was helping them through what ever difficulty they were experiencing.
There is no one who has had a greater impact on my life than Joe. Joe, I have missed you during Covid19, but while not physically together we were always spiritually together. I'll miss our lunches and talks and I'm not sure what I'm going to do with you gone. I'm grateful you were my friend.
I know you are in Heaven with our Lord and Savior. Hopefully, when my time comes, we will meet again.
Joe, you were one of a kind and the world was a better place with you in it.

I was so sorry to hear about Joe's passing. I always loved listening to Joy's stories about him. My favorite story was the year he wrote the Christmas letter and included his and Joy's ages in the letter. It was the best listening to her tell that story. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

My heartfelt condolences to the Reiner family. Joe was such a good man, as husband to Joy, as a father to Jim and Jerald, as a coach to my son Chris, and as a friend to me. I will remember his smile, his love of family, food, sports, and how tall he was! May memories comfort you and bring you peace.

Joe, my friend, you will be missed! He helped me out when I was the Athletic Director at Saint Leo's in SA. He taught me all the tricks of the trade-in a couple of hours. He was the best at creating a comfortable environment where the students relaxed and played. He was welcoming and inclusive. If somebody was in need, there was Joe helping him out. I am sure now he is setting up a recreation facility in Heaven. Good Bye coach. See you on the other side...and if we practice enough we can shoot better then Jerald. Blessings to all.

Joe Reiner was one of the best. I met him when I worked with Joy for more than 25 years. I always enjoyed him at our many functions. He loved to talk and eat. Many functions just didn’t have enough food for him. Many at our table passed him food we didn’t eat. We had so many laughs over the years. I will miss him.

My sympathy to the family. He loved his family and his friends. God be with you all. I’m glad he left great memories.
