Tragic doesnt begin to explain the loss felt by his family & friends. Ther are no words only a void where once was beauty, promise & art. Derek was an artist at heart, but whatever venture he took on in life he put everything he had into it in an effort to master it. Whether it be his artwork, rock climbing, landscape design or even tending bar he put all his heart into it.
