This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, John Gaglione, 73 years old, born on December 10, 1926, and passed away on January 20, 2000. We will remember him forever.
This Memorial page is dedicated to John G. Gaglione. A Distinguished Lt. Gov. of the Long Island South Central Division of Kiwanis International in 1980-81, John was a long-time community activist and former Little League Commissioner in East Meadow, where a ballfield is named in his honor. John served for 12 years on the New York District Kiwanis Foundation Board, including two as vice president and eight as president (1989-1997). In 1999 he was made an Honorary Past Governor. A great Kiwanian and community leader, we pause to honor his memory.
Thank you for creating this tribute for my late father, John G. Gaglione. It’s hard to believe that he passed away 20 years ago today. We miss him every day, but take comfort in thinking about the ways he left the world a better place. I am sure if there is a Kiwanis club in Heaven, they are celebrating the 20th anniversary of his membership today!
