May condolences to you all on the loss of great man, husband, father, and Soldier. Although we feel a void her on earth, God has added another Soldier to his heavenly ranks. May the Lord bless and mend the hole that you have in your heart. May you find peace in knowing that Mr. Hodges is home with his father, and that you will see him again . Love you all with all my heart.

We will forever remember our last time together in Atlanta at that wonderful family reunion -- what fun we had. But life has its times and this is one that will forever rest within our hearts. Therefore, may the love of God protect you, the power of God watch over you; and the presence of God grant you and your family peace and love.
