My dad was the most loving man ever. He was ready and willing to help anyone, anywhere at anytime. He would give the shirt off his own back to help others even if it meant that he would have to go without. He worked his entire life extremely hard to provide his family with nothing but the best. Unfortunately he was dealt an unfair hand in this life. He was diagnosed with leukemia and given an eight percent chance of survival. He spent many years of his life battling cancer. He was unlike other people he was a fighter and a true survivor. He knew that there were so many people that needed him here on earth and that losing to cancer was not an option! He was soon Cancer free but had many other health problems to deal with as a result of the chemotherapy. He ended up going into complete kidney failure and had heart problems as a result of the previous treatments. He had to go to dialysis on a weekly basis and spend a lot of time in the hospital due to heart complications resulting in 17 stents placed in the valves of his heart and 1 in his right leg. He was the strongest person I will ever meet in my life. He was a miracle! He was nothing more than living proof that miracles do come true!! Most of all he was my Hero. Despite the ongoing complications he had throughout his life he was blessed to experience so many wonderful things. He was able to see all three of his children graduate school. He was there at his son's wedding and to walk his daughter down the aisle at hers. He was there for the birth of 5 beautiful grandchildren who meant the world to him and love and miss him dearly. He was a loving Son, Father, Brother, Poppy, Lover and Friend. He touched the lives and left such a great impact on anyone who had the privilege of knowing him! He may be gone but will never be forgotten!! He is our Angel in Heaven guiding us and protecting us everyday! Until we meet again he will live on through our memories! I love you Daddy with every piece of my broken heart!!
