I have so many fond memories of John O'Brien, and he will be dearly missed. But while I am writing this with tears in my eyes, I will always remember him with love and fondness in my heart. My love and prayers go out to the O’Brien family. While I am sorry for your loss, I am very happy to celebrate the life of a great man, John F. O’Brien.

I was terribly sad to learn of Uncle John's passing. I truly believe he and Aunt Ann had a very rare gift of making everyone feel special. I regret I was unable to attend the funeral mass, but please know my prayers are with each of you. Love to all of you! Marjorie

It's hard to imagine this world without Mr. O'Brien. His kindness and warmth permeated every room he entered and every heart he touched. How ironic that he died just hours before my mom. I can't help but feel that the consummate gentleman in him wanted to be on hand to usher her into heaven. Love to all the O'Briens.

Johnny, Mike, Richard, Bob; I wish I could be there tonight and at the mass for your dad. He was certainly a big role model in my life as my little league coach, Sunday School Teacher, fellow sports lover, and "dad" to me for my senior year of high school. What the heck was he and your mom thinking letting me live with ya'll for a year! Like 4 boys weren't enough. So glad to have known him

I am so saddened to hear of the passing of my sister's father in law Mr. O'Brien. He was a kind and gentle man. I have many fond memories of the annual O'Brien Christmas parties. He made everyone who came into his home feel so special and I'm so glad I got to see him before he became very ill. You'll be missed by so many family members and friends. In my prayers, Terri Lovely
