Milais Janit, this was the way I called you After ten years I still miss you . I remember the happy days we shared and regret the hard ones but we loved each other and I remember the good times when we both worked in the house making it look pleasant and cozy. The garden was yours being an enthusiastic gardener. You also had beautiful pigeons and the children had fun with them and gave them names.
Memories like these warm my heart.

Dad, I come here with heavy heart, remembering the days you were bringing me up in this world. How I look back happily at some of the moments, and have forgotten all the rest. How I remember now, the wisdom you had bestowed upon your children, and how, even now, your wisdom moves forward in my life. Dad, I thank you for your wisdom and love you provided for me and your Family, it will enrich me for all the days of my life, Jekab

On September 22 was my dear husband John's 87th birthday. It is almost a year he is not with me. I miss him.

I will always remember the hospitality that John and Ina showed to my family during the Feast of Tabernacles in 2005 when John invited us to their home for a meal and fellowship. I will remember his championing present day ongoing inspiration from the Holy Spirit.

Thank you, dear John, for 55 years of love and caring. For happy and serious times, for laughing and crying with me. You said "I'll fly away" on your last day on this earth and I know that you flew to a better and happier place."

Sometimes the seemingly smallest comment can forever change a life. John shared with me about his filing system for overcoming paperwork clutter. Now every time I file something or am able to find a piece of information I've filed, it reminds me of John's kind sharing. Thanks, John!

My Dad had many loves and nterests in his life but foremost was the well being of his family. My Dad's love for natural beauty and the arts influenced many people along his journey in life. Thanks, Dad, for the fond memories and teachings you have provided while here on this planet we call Earth.

John Purvins was a regular visitor to the Appleton Public Library's programs and Reference desk. He was always a true "gentleman" and quite scholarly in his communications. I also conversed with him at a few of the conversation sessions at Harmony Cafe and was impressed with his breadth of knowledge. May he rest in peace.

John was truly a model for a gentleman. I was pleased to be included in this list. My sympathy for his close ones in this loss for all of us.

John's quest to know God was infectious and a testimony to the Holy Spirit that lived within him. While always seeking to know more and while very firm in his convictions, John was always open to hear the thoughts and heart of others. I will always remember my times with John as being joyful and rewarding.

John's commitment to seeking and obeying God was as serious as anyone I've ever known, and therefore an inspiration to those who knew him. He therefore held his convictions strongly, which was not always comfortable, but which was always motivated by a respectful fear of the Lord. John was also amazingly stimulated to seek new insight and knowledge, something I will aspire to emulate.
