My brother wanted to join the military. On several occasions I had to talk him out of trying to enlist. He knew that it would be very hard on him physically and mentally but he was willing to make that sacrifice. I of course didn't want him to be in harm's way and reminded him of how he struggled being away from his children. There were 3 reasons he was considering the military:

1.Financial stability for his children.

2. Health insurance for his children.

3.Assistance with college for his children. He was very determined to have both Dawn and Matthew go to college so the wouldn't have a "shit job" his words.

I am sure most of you know that my brother didn't finish high school, but I hope you all know he was haunted by this and always thought he would finish and got to heavy equipment mechanic trade school. He but his dream on the back burner for his family. In the months before his passing he was preparing to return to start pursuing this dream. He had started arrangement to work for Franz in Boise for the winter and start night classes. He was going to stay here Monday-Friday if needed and go back to the kids on the weekends.

We where all so close,and also forever will be. we had lot's of smiles and love to share.

Junior, Dawn and Matthew made my 54th  birthday, one of the best days in my life!

I was working and I remember all of you walking up the hall to me with the beautiful flowers and huge cupcake that you guy's made. You where always so thoughtful and such a loving person.
