Professor Barry's classes were some of the best learning experiences I had during my MBA. He had a remarkable ability to make sense of the complexity of economics in this world.

More importantly, you truly cared about your students and their learning. Your dedication to our success was inspiring.

You will be deeply missed.

For an engineer he gave you such an amazing, complex yet simplified and interesting economic purview of the world. I just fell love with the subject because of him. Oh Dear Oh Dear will be seriously missed

What a shock to hear of Barry's passing. He has made a lasting impression on me as my economics lecturer. With his enthusiasm, directness and wittyness he could turn something absolutely boring into something highly captivating. And then the fact that he could always be approached outside classes, still with the same enthusiasm... this is really a blow.

You will be missed Barry. All the best to family and friends.
