My Beloved Dad, It's been a year since you departed this sinful world to the Land of no return, yet I'm still hurting like it all happened last night.
You are irreplaceable father and all the sweet memories of you will stay in my heart forever.
You were my perfect advice, mentor and you helped me grow up to be a man.

If I have my way, then I will simply want to be like you... You were Intelligent, Loving, Caring, Humble, God-fearing and soo full of Compassion..

I know I would have been an almost perfect man if I had kept just half of the advices I got from you... But like you always told me when I was growing up "it's never too late to bounce back and do the right things in Life".

You’ve gone on what I like to call an adventure, into the land of our ancestors.
It may be a year since you began your adventure but my dear father, It still hurts pretty bad, The pain’s still fresh...
But I feel consoled knowing you are surely resting in the hands of our good Lord where we all desire to be when we depart this sinful world.

I pray we one day reunite to separate no more.

Adios Papa

Pa Joe, today we remember your passing into eternal glory. One year already? O God our Heavenly Father, hear the voices of your children in times of pain and in times of happiness. To the sons and daughters of Pa Joe Mallah, and to his dearest wife, Mama Patricia, let us Praise the Lord who gives eternal life. Pa Joe, your absence has been very noticeable in many aspects. But we find comfort everyday because of your legacy. May your gentle soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in perfect peace, Amen.

Pa Joe. A man with a lovely heart, his kindness will always be remembered.
He left a legacy of love, and was a beautiful example of how to live life. The only dad I grew up looking up to.....tears...
Papa you live on...in our hearts; you left a void no one else can fill. Love.

Dear Pa Joe,
We were Blessed to have had you almost for a whole year before the Good Lord called you. May you find eternal rest as a peaceful father to the children mourning today.

"To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;…" Canisia and Family

My beloved (Pa.Joe), it is hard to absorb such a lost because it came so soon. However the legacy you left behind will forever live among us.
His entire life was that of a practical christian. JESUS CHRIST as he was fondly called by taxi-men when he was on police check point is a testimony .
Rejoice in the Lord (pa.joe) together with (Bih Ernestine) and all the heavenly Angels till the end of time. AMEN

The greatest gift i have ever received of which i am forever thankful for to God Almighty is being your son. the best gift a child can ever have in this world, is to have you as a father. That I am very proud of.

Your memories will forever be young in my mind. Yet i have found a special place to keep you where you are never going to fade away and it is that i keep your daughter and my lovely sister Ernestine Bih Mallah whom you are going to meet. And that special place is in my HEART where you are going to be forever till the day we shall meet again to part no more.

Marie-Louise and siblings, it was a blessing for all of us to have had Papa Joe as a dad.He was a man of dignity, honesty and also some-one who believed in righteousness. His time, on earth, was well utilized, as he served his Country diligently, brought up his family in a religious environment and also instilled in all his children that unique character that enabled him to always do God's Will. He is being called, by the Heavenly Father, to carry out more sophisticated assignments beyond our comprehension. His soul will always R.I.P--- AMEN.

Dear Mallah and Family,
Pa has run his race to the finish line on this earth. His job is done. what a blessing for you. That your children were able to experience his love. That they were able to share in his warm embrace. The loss of Pa is painful but this my dear is a bitter sweet pain. The fact that it hurts so much is the confirmation of a well loved father. Console yourself with the fact that he now feels no more pain. that this christian man now lives with the lord our savior. stay strong for your family. My prayers are with you as you go through this very difficult time.

My dear Marie and siblings, I pause for a while and as I lift my head up, with an empathetic heart, I plead with all of you; dad's flesh may be gone as destined by God but his spirit is alive and well. Let's grieve as Christians and give his soul permission to travel this beautiful journey to meet the glorious one and only Jesus Christ. And as he enjoys the bliss of the presence of The Almighty, may that joy be shared amongst all of you to ease the pain of his earthly loss. Eternal rest grant unto him oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine on him. May he rest in peace. Amen

A tribute to my Father who died at the age of 71 on the 15/11/2013.

I was so privileged to have you as a Dad.
I had never wished for any other.
You gave us all that life could offer.
You sacrificed all you could to make us who we are today.
And we are so proud of you.

As a teacher,
You taught us how to grow from nothing to something.
You taught us how to pray and love the things of God.
You taught us everything that life requires.
You taught us how to live and love each other.
But you did not teach us how to live without you.

As a great soldier,
You fought your way through life.
You fought for your success and that of your children.
You fought for others as well.
You fought for peace in your country.
But could not fight death.

As a father,
You brought us up with love.
You never spared the rod and spoiled the child.
You gave us the best give of life, our education.
You gave us all the values and principles of life.
But you did not teach us how to live without a father.

As a granddad,
You took care of your grandchildren like a babysitter.
You fed and coddle them like a nursing mother.
They will always look to dance and play with granddad.
They will always look for granddad to report their issues.
But you did not tell them you were going to live them so soon.

As a husband,
You showed love to your wife.
You were always there to support her.
You promised her you were going to be there for her.
But when death came, you forgot all the promises.

Papa the news of your death came to me as a shock.
The last time I called, you told me you were fully recovered.
Sister Marie confirmed that by telling me how good looking you are.
I wish I knew where you were going prepared like that.

You made death sound very simple.
But to be honest is not as simple as you make it seem.
Our hearts are full of grief.
I am so sad; I can’t stop crying every night when I go to bed.
You left a big gap in our hearts that cannot be replaced.

Death they say is a necessary end to a new beginning .
But I see death as a sadist that takes away our love once and keep us broken hearted.
First was my beloved sister Ernestine and now is my Pa Joe.
Pa Joe you were a loving and adorable Dad.
Your principles and teachings will always guide us through.
And we will forever miss you!!!!

My beloved father, Joseph Mallah, you will always be the most important role model in my life. You were my mentor, my friend and my most ardent supporter. Life without you will be challenging. You were the foundation of pillars that built my hopes, my strength and fueled the drive inside me to strive for success. Your keen understanding of life made me realize that you were not only educated academically, but wise in a myriad of disciplines. Whatever God wills, your achievements are so profound and timeless that many of our time will fall short in meeting your contributions. You were a successful, humble and generous man with the kindest of heart. I am blessed to have had such an ideal man as my father.
Your God Fearing Soul Is Gone To Where It Belongs (Heaven), But Memories Of You Will Live On In Our Hearts Forever...

Adios Papa
