When you lose someone that has been such a big part of your life, you lose a piece of yourself. That piece can never be replaced, never be filled, never be ignored. It’s a part of your life now. That hole in your heart you learn to live with. As life goes on without you, I am reminded of the times we shared (the good and the bad), the adventures we had been though, and the love two best friend had for each other. You have had my back since we were kids. Didn’t matter if it was giving me your spot in 4 square in the first grade or your last cigarette in the pack as an adult. My whole life, you were always a safe shoulder to cry in and I was a safe space for you to come to when the world got tough. I am really missing you my friend. Always. Thank you for being a brother to me during your time here on earth. I have learned so much from you and will carry you in my heart everyday! Love you Joshua Tyler aka Smithers ❤️
