I was shocked to hear the news from Lucia. I was going to bring you my collection of Bollywood songs to Senegal so that you could sing to them. I remember when I first met you in Quaga last year you were singing Hindi songs. May your soul rest in peace.

Juanita was one of the most passionate people on WASH that I have come across.

She had the WASH facts on her finger tips and figures on her lips. She is well known and respected for making informed commentary with a power of oratory fuelled by a deep conviction that WASH issues need to be put in the front burner.

Juanita, you were an angel. may the Lord comfort all the members of your family and all of us at this time. You were a friend to me and very helpful. May you find rest in God's bosom. We love you but God loves you more.

I made the announcement but Juanita's passing didn't sink in until I spoke to Christopher & Nana on 8/18. They'd just arrived Burkina Faso to claim her body & return to Nigeria for a burial already planned for 8/22/12 in Lagos, Nigeria. Bola O'Jones & I had a good cry over the phone after that. Konka! I thank God for your life, the gift of knowing you and many happy memories together.

Never got to know you personally cos you were 3 yrs my senior but you stood out with your nightingale voice which got attension, besides, your testimonies are worth reflecting on and inspiring.
