I remember seeing Juanita about 9years ago at the salon in Lagos; we were both happy to come in contact with each other again, after so many years that we left Bakori. Oh! What can I say? All I can remember is that beautiful lady with a beautiful voice. Even at that young age in Bakori she had good leadership skills; Juanita, you will be missed by many! I know you are in a better place to rest

Juanita the sweet voiced, we met last at Uzonna's wedding 10 yrs back and shared the special reunion we bakorians have when we do meet. Never knew it could ever be the last. The Mende songs you thought me have passed down to younger ones over the years who in turn will teach friends & family and the cycle continues, you will be forever remembered. Adieu & Rest in perfect peace.

My beautiful Juanita..Ur positive glow & vibrant spirit always lifted my moods whenever I thought of you..I'd just returned from a long trip and was doing some house cleaning when I stumbled on a Feb 2011 interview you'd given Sunday Trust's Tambari magazine..I admired ur smiling picture & kept it aside to read when I'd be feeling more relaxed hoping to call you afterwards..Rest in Peace!
