Christmas Eve
March 3, 2021
Let me first offer my condolences to the family ❣️

One Christmas Eve at St Michaels, was particularly beautiful. Everything went right ...music, song, sermon, and at the last, the lighting of each person’s candle, as the lights are dimmed with a singing of Silent Night, Holy Night.
As the congregation lined up to leave, greeting the pastor at the door (oh what a wonderful service, Pastor, etc ... and etc). When it came time for Julie and mom to leave, Julie shook my hand, as she looked at me with wide eyes and said: Whoopi, is that you???? All we could do is say no and chuckle, laugh...
I guess Julie knew what the others didn’t, that I am not particularly fond of Whoopi. ♀️ But I am looking at Whoopi a lil differently these days; thanks to Julie
Kathleen, I pray you remember that night, when you have nights that are more silent than others...remember the wide eyed honesty that can only be defined as sacred. ✌ Much love, dhoruba❣️
