Ambassador Audrey Ajose mfr Ba(Hons)
I first met Akin Sandain the 70's when he was a junior in Libra Law chambers and I had temporarily "borrowed" a desk there thanks to my friend Mrs Balogun, whose chambers it is.
He was gentle and although self-effacing, well versed in the law, putting his points succinctly and without undue verbosity.
He was never arrogant, even when elevated to the bench, and carried out his duties there fairly and with despatch.
He has left behind the finest inheritance a child could wish for - a reputation for integrity, honesty and hard work.
May his soul rest in peace.
