Chief Kalu A. Maduka was born on 2nd Nov. to the family of Maduka, a descendant of one of the families in Abiriba, Ohafia Local Government. of Abia State, Nigeria.

Elder Chief Kalu A. Maduka attended Church of Scotland Mission School (C.S.M) and Enuda College in Abiriba. He also attended Programs Commercial Institute, Aba, and Lagos Business School LBS, and obtained Proficiency Certificates in Commerce.
Precisely in 1959, he started his practical business tutelage with his brother and mentor, Chief K. K. Onuma "AKA JI UDO" of Abiriba. 
By the special grace of God, Elder Chief K. A. Maduka saw himself in the hand, plan and eternal purpose of God, as it is seen in his becoming the Chairman and Executive Director of the KAMTEX Group of Companies, West Africa. 
A board member and a director of Fidelity Securities Limited FSL. Nigeria, he sat on the board of several other companies in Nigeria and other African countries. An industrialist and a widely traveled man, he attended several international business seminars.
Elder Chief K. A Maduka is a devout Christian activist, and motivator of remarkable depth and breadth of interests.
A member of the famous "ONYIBA AGE GRADE" of Abiriba, he retired from active community services "Ime Uche" in December 2008. He remained active in the community affairs as well as in the banking & finance sector.
Elder Chief K. A. Maduka is blessed with children and grandchildren; as a strict disciplinarian, he never spared the rod where and when necessary.
A man of honor and a disciplined individual, he believed that the only short-cut to success is: Hard Work, Transparency, Honesty & Fair Play in all his social and business dealings.
