Karen was born during the month of March on Long Island. She moved to Berkeley Hights, NJ, with her family when she was 13. She had 4 other siblings, Christopher and Kenneth, Gail and Rainy. She was married to Simon Harter and had 2 kids, Katherine and Graham Harter. Later on, got a divorce from her husband and found the love of her life Jim Hubbert. She loved her dog Makena and loved to quilt, she always made them for her siblings and when they had kids, she would make them a quilt. Karen taught piano to her nieces and neighbors. Later on in life she developed a brain tumor and died from stage 4 brain cancer. She is loved and will never be lost for she will always be in our hearts.
