Lets go on a walk....
Some of my most cherished memories with you were the many walks we took on the State College bike path. My brothers would go out with Grandad and I would choose to go on a leisurely walk with you. I'm not sure how long our walks were...I was young and what might have been an hour felt like three, but I do remember our long talks filled with endless amounts of stories and heaps of advice. I specifically remember you sneaking to my parents kitchen to enjoy a small glass of Diest Pepsi and a handful of Lays chips before each one. Even though you loved those two things so much you managed to control your portions. Maybe someday I will learn to do so too. It's been a few years since you've passed. All I can say is I miss you. I really would have given anything to share one last walk with you. I now cherish the signature gap between my teeth. It now acts as a constant reminder that you are always with me and that you are a part of me always. Rest in peace Grandma and Happy Birthday <3
