Karl Lacy James Crenshaw, III began his life on June 19, 1953 born to Dorothy Lee Crenshaw and Lacy James Crenshaw Jr. in Austin, TX. He attended Austin Public Schools and graduated from McCallum High School June 2, 1972.
He further attended Austin Community College studying criminal law and until his health failed was a dedicated employee of Motorola.
Lacy accepted Christ at an early age and married his earthly twin and the love of his life Jacklyn W, to this union six children were born.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Lee Crenshaw of Austin, TX; father Lacy James Crenshaw of California. He entered into eternal rest on Saturday June 15, 2013.
He leaves to cherish his memories; Jacklyn Crenshaw his wife of 40 years, 4 sons and 3 daughters: Lacy Crenshaw IV, Tonya Crenshaw-Moore (Kenneth), Lance Crenshaw, Brandon Crenshaw, Laison Crenshaw, Chan’nel Crenshaw, & Alexus Crenshaw. Thirteen grandkids Genyea Crenshaw, Tonzena Moore, Zashawn Crenshaw, Kendreon Moore, Kamreon Moore, Yasmine Crenshaw, Jakayla Crenshaw, Madison Crenshaw, Jalaizha Haywood, Aleeya Crenshaw, Camry Crenshaw, Aniah Crenshaw, Elijiah Crenshaw; 1 brother, Larry Crenshaw (Irene), 2 sisters: Jacqueline Taylor and Debra Brooks (Benny); and a host of other family and friends.
