Kay had been in my life since 1987. Therefore she has had a big impact on my life and I am thankful for her love and wisdom in which helped me become the woman I am today. She treated me not like a daughter in law, but as her true daughter. You always hear people complain about their mother in laws, but you would never hear that from my mouth. I can only hope to be a great mother in law when the day may come and treat them as well as she has treated me these past 28 years. I told her on several occasions that if my two son's Brent and Cody turn out to be only half the man their father (Howard Jr) is they will be great. I was so blessed to be able to take care of her these last few weeks and finally give back to her what she has always given me, love without expecting anything in return. I will honor Kay everyday as I will take her wisdom with me in my everyday life and continue where she left off by loving without judgement and forgiving those that have wronged me. Thank you God for giving the pleasure to me such a wonderful person. I love and will always love you Kay. <3

Kay sounds like a wonderful woman, and I'm sad I was not able to meet her. I've enjoyed hearing the stories of her that have been told by Anthony, her grandson. My condolences to the family - you are all in my thoughts and prayers. She is a beautiful angel in Heaven now.
