Adieu my hero, my benefactor, a great uncle and father who loved, cared and supported me till his last day. I will forever be grateful to you. I am already emulating your legacies by loving and upholding the Values of the SUNMONU FADAHUNSI FAMILY, which you had groomed me for. Your last words to me two days to your demise on your sick bed when you said, "Rafiu, ask me any questions about family. I love you.” It meant a lot to me because it reaffirmed your love for me.
Thank you Daddy for all you did for me. You will forever be missed and remembered. May God be pleased with you. Ameen

Daddy, I remember our last discussion so clearly. Passionately you discussed cat fish farming with my husband and you encouraged us to keep at it. We kept at it sir.

When I couldn't reach Funmi on phone, I feared and hoped that all was well with you. Then she sent the news of your passage to eternal life.

Rest on in the bosom of the Lord daddy

Ejire araisokun Oba omo, Oba omo,I don't know where to start I don't know what to write because there were lots of good things about you. I learnt a lot from your life history. You were a strong pillar in Sunmonu Fadahunsi family. You built the family and brought everyone together. You have taught us the value of welfarism and what surprised me most was that on your sick bed you still remember to send you 85 yrs old cousin's monthly fee.I still imagine your tiny sweet voice those days we spoke on phone, especially the last phone call I had with you, when you were saying you have won the battle. I shed tears when you said if I don't hear from you I shouldn't be afraid. You were a God loving man, who never joke with going to church. When someone you love becomes a memory that memory becomes a treasure. Although you were old but the question I can't stop asking is why did it happen to you, but who are we to query God.I will forever cherish your meek and quiet life. You indeed left a legacy of love in our hearts. Ekure mosu ara ile ooye, omo oloye orungbe omo oloye terenikun ekure lomi meji o pe kan laala. Ala omo mi nbe ninu oke omo agatoro. Sleep on sweet dad, till we meet to path no more.

OUR TRIBUTE TO OUR SP.AP ( ENGR )KEHINDE AYOOLA FADAHUNSI. Never can find the word that will express our grief, anger, pain and hurt for the sudden demise of our above named brother, uncle and friend at a seemingly God appointed age of 83 years on Sunday the 7th February 2021. Of course, it is with a heavy heart and a mixture of sand ness and appreciation that we dote on the memory of engr, Kehinde, for so, we all fondly called him. No doubt, we lost a rare gem-concerned and dearly close brother and friend who shared other people ‘s problems with inner interest coupled with that of his family’s concerns. He was a special Apostle infact and indeed and we take solace in the fact that our brother was with the Almighty Father, throughout his life. We also thank God for the good testimonies concerning you , our dear engineer Ayoola. “Ijeri- enia ni ijeri Olorun.” As we mind our earthly duties let us keep in mind and believe that Goodbye are the laws of earth and Re -union, the laws of heaven. We are confident, however, in the challlenging life you lived.May your noble soul rest in perfect peace. Amen. Your Brother and Wife Rev (Dr) Moses Oladiran Fadahunsi JP. & Lady Evang . Dr Solabomi Olubusola Fadahunsi & on behalf of the children & family.

When I attended his 80th birthday party at an Event Centre in Oregun and watched him dance gracefully, I did not know that I was seeing Kehinde for the last time. We sat and talked about how the Engineers who graduated from Nigerian Universities ganged up against him and attempted to wound him with a vehicle, when he was upgraded to the Engineer cadre in Lanlate Sstellite Station and how he forgave them all. Kehinde is a very religious individual and loves people irrespective of age, religion or class. He socialises and enjoy chatting with friends. He is open and sincere. Transparently honest.
I will miss his characteristic laughter. Loud and sincere.
Goodbye Kehinde.
Goodnight Engineer Fadahunsi.

Broda, although nothing is impossible, your death was such an expected turn. You have stood strong against illnesses and infirmities. It appeared this time too like another challenge which you would overcome, no matter how daunting. But not this time. No, it was not another conquest at all. Not even your ever ready laughter, ever ready sense of humor, ever optimistic spirit could overcome it. Well, the end must come when it will. Yet your personality, positive spirit and gaiety live. It can never be forgotten. You were such a shining star - a complete gentleman, a consummate professional, a serious intellectual, a community activist, a loving father, a patriot, an international voyager, a spiritual leader. You also were from to time a mischief maker - to make us laugh or just for the heck of it! It has been about five decades when you were to me my brother in all ways. I grew up knowing you as my brother - and our family in all ways was one. We have lost you. But the love will continue. And we shall do everything to keep the love that you showed us. It will continue and it will bind us still as a family together. Broda, sun re o!

The death of Baba came as a shock but I know he is in a better place. Baba Fadahunsi touched the life of my family at a crucial moment when I was at a  young age. Through him my late dad secured a job at NET in those days. Though my dad passed away about 40 years ago but he shared the story with me and I will never forget the part baba Fadahunsi played in my family.  God used him to touch so many lives. May his soul continue to rest in peace and may the Almighty God  strenghten the entire family in Jesus' name. Amen.

We announce with deep shock the passage of our Father unto glory. The demise of Pa. Kehinde Fadahunsi has created a huge vacuum for us at . Until his death,Baba was a strong pillar and bastion of encouragement for us.
He was always there ,rallying supports and parleying people to the cause of Ijesa Nation. A very unassuming leader and elder of great convictions. We are indeed saddened at this sudden call to home ,we take solace in the fact that Baba lived an examplary life of service to God and humanity, his milk of kindness ,hands of love extended to old and young alike ,are rare in a century.
We pray God grant the family fortitude to bear this moment and Baba eternal repose. Your deeds will remain indelible on the sands of time.
