In Loving Memory of My Pop
Keith Dale Arnold
2/15/36 - 6/28/16
Keith Dale Arnold, 80, passed away on June 28, 2016 in Grants Pass, Oregon after a long and courageous battle with Congestive Heart Failure.
Keith was born in Washington, Iowa on February 15 (a Valentine baby), 1936 to Bill and Mabel Arnold (deceased).
Keith is survived by his amazingly extended family - related, non-related, and very dear lifelong friends:
Keith's children Clark Arnold, Clayton Arnold (Susan),and Leslie Crook (Patrick).
Keith's grandchildren Fletcher Arnold (Shelby), Miranda Arnold, and Addison Howard.
Siblings Bill Arnold (Carolyn), Denise Hillstad, Verlie January (Cletus), and Duane Arnold (Mary). As well as Keith's deceased sister, Sally Pena (Tony).
Keith is pre-deceased by the love of his life, Arlene Walsh.
I know in my heart they're at a celestial nightclub, listening to Brubeck, and throwing back cocktails. Bravo.
Keith was a decades-long, and loyal member of the Loyal Order of Moose, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Everyone who met Pop for the first time left with a fantastic, funny, smart, adventurous, practical-joking new friend. And all are pleased to have the memory of a lifetime kinship.
Keith leaves many, many wonderful friends all over the country - every single one of which were a "Best Friend" - whom he cherished and loved so deeply. You know who You are. Pop loves and misses you.
A "Celebration of Life" event is being held for Keith on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at the Scotts Valley Senior Center from 1-6pm.
http://www.scottsvalley.org/parks/senior_center.htmlPop didn't want a "Memorial," he wanted a party.
So that's what we're going to do.
This event will be partly catered, and partly potluck.
All beverages will be provided.
