His Life

Kelly's Life

February 26, 2021
Kelly Gallacher, a long time resident of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on February 11, 2021, at Mountain View Hospital he was 54 years old.  He died suddenly of Covid. It was just the day before, he said he was starting to feel better. The calm before the storm.
He was born on April 26, 1966 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Joyce and Harold Gallacher. He was married to his soul mate and the love of his life, Debbie "Puppy" Gallacher. They were together and then married for the last 25 years; a love that grew and grew and got stronger every year that passed.  They have two children, Katie Amos and Eric Gallacher. He has two brothers, Hal and Dan Gallacher.  Their closeness and bond reveled second to no other.
Kelly worked the last 25 years as a logistics driver.  Driving his car or driving a truck, he drove more miles then most people ever will  He made a living delivering milk as a milk man or delivering paperwork, televisions, air conditioning parts or bins full of clothing or whatever.  He could get you to wherever you wanted to go in this entire valley - and anywhere beyond. Navigation wasn't a problem for him.
Kelly was loved and cherished by all that knew him. He was one of those people that everyone who met him, liked him. He had many joys in life like good food, music and gatherings with family and friends. He had a heart of gold and would always have your back.  His big voice, his caring heart and his loving smile would always fill the room. He could strike up a conversation with anyone and could be comfortable even if he didn't know anyone in the room.  He was quick to greet you, and you always knew when he was around.  He had many friends, they all loved his spirit. When time went without seeing him, it was like time never passed when you finally did.
He was a dedicated family man and friend to the end.  He always worked very hard to provide for his family and friends in need.  Even through the pandemic he worked hard to be the provider. He was close to his work colleagues and his customers and was well liked and took pride in taking care of everyone. He always had a smile on his face and loved to see you all. He left you feeling like all is good and he'll be back to see you again. This one last time, he just couldn't return.
All of us that know Kelly will miss his big voice, his big heart and his huge compassion for his family and friends.  Until we meet again, he will be greatly missed!
He is survived by his wife Debbie, his children Eric and Katie, brothers Hal and Dan, his nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Justin, Adam and Emily; Gavin, Allie and Kylie; Allison, Matthew, Owen and Grace; his sister and brother in-laws, Rita and Mike, Lydia, Doug and Sebs and his cherished friends and much loved family members.
He was a big animal lover and is survived by his many pets and his special buddy Rocky, a little long-haired Chihuahua who was always on his lap and misses him every day.
