We first met Ken at the 1999 Aurora Colorado Couples Golf Classic. We were paired up with Dawn & Ken in the tournament. I was my super nervous self as always when I’m playing with someone new. I did know Dawn from the Working Women’s Golf League & she already made me nervous because I knew she was a GREAT golfer… That being said, the four of us clicked & had a fun time. Ken made me feel comfortable with his easy going personality. He didn’t take himself seriously playing golf so why should I? That day was the start of a wonderful long friendship with Dawn & Ken that included many golf outings and many barbeques. Ron & I still remember Ken bringing out his “Rini Rescue Rooter” club to get himself out of trouble on the course & the many laughs we shared. Ron thought that he had learned all there was to know about barbequing from his dad until he met Ken. We were lucky to be his “taste testers” prior to his many barbeque competitions. He was the consummate smoker/griller/ barbequer of ribs, briskets, chicken and won many awards. Although both couples moved out of Colorado , we stayed in touch over the years and it was our goal to reconnect in Savannah in 2020. Unfortunately it was not to be. Co Vid shut down the country and then months later our rescheduled vacation was thwarted by a hurricane that prevented us from leaving Florida. We are blessed at least to have had many fond memories of Ken. RIP our dear friend! Michelle & Ron Van Deusen Spring Hill Florida

Kenny was a true friend and will be remembered by me and many for so many great times. Always upbeat and happy go lucky. Hard thing to comprehend. Jim Weingart

Ken loved everything Elvis and must have seen every movie more than once. He had a great personality and humor. My condolences go out to his wife, children and Grandchildren RIP Ken.
I enjoyed knowing him, we took a bus to Ohio University around 1966 so he could see Toni Oviatt and I could be with Byron Webster. That ride was so long as it made way too many stops but he had me laughing the entire time.
Good times and good memories.
