God Bless your soul, my Brother from another Mother,
We spent a few years together when your mother sent you to live with your Father
In Calif. Years ago. We crossed paths many times when you stopped by my house while driving truck.
We didn't keep in touch much in life, and that I regret. I as you always thought there would be time......
I have memories, and stories in my mind I will never forget from when we were young.
God bless .
I pray your loved ones heal soon.
Your Brother from another Mother

He taught me to drive a stick shift in shoppers fair parking lot,we went to our first Bob Seger concert in the early 70's. I remember missing him so much when he left for the Navy. He came home and he was so handsome that all the girls wanted to walk by my house in hopes of a sighting. Oh the memories as we went from brother/sister to friends, hanging out at the 24 Karat Club, driving to Georgia in his Bi-centennial Peter-built Semi, driving down to the Keys in a convertible with the music blasting, feeding the squirrels, lighting lanterns on the beach in Lauderdale , (and almost burning down the town). He loved showing off his town and everywhere we went he knew people and they loved him. I don't think he knew how much he meant to so many. My heart is aching and will for quite some time. I take comfort in the fact that we said I love you the day before he died, I just thought there would be more. Thank you to those of you leaving stories and comments , I love it xoxoxox

Ken,
YOU ARE FIRED! You can not take off work like this! I will not allow it! Get back to work right now! I miss you my friend! I miss you so much since I moved home to Texas- but now I am really missing you! I am so glad that I did track you down and found you when you were in the hospital. I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to tell you how much you meant to me. I got to make you laugh. I got to tell you how thankful I was for all your hard work at the hotels and most importantly- what a great man and friend you have been to me over the years! I love you so much! Rest in Peace my forever friend! I will see you again one day. Keep a beer on ice for me!

It's been a couple years since I spoke with Uncle Ken but I'll always remember him cheering me up after getting picked on in school, or the little silver locket he gave me. He taught me how to play solitaire when the power went out. He will definitely be missed.
