Aunt Carol and Uncle Kent played a big part in my life, especially when I was a kid. I always looked forward to going to their house, and Aunt Carol took me on a few outings with just the two of us that I remember being really special. She was a very warm, caring person, and I will miss her very much. I will also miss Kent and how he was always interested in interesting things like technology and history. We had many good conversations on those topics, and he was always up for a good conversation, even on topics on which we disagreed. I also always thought it was very sweet that Carol and Kent would often read to each other in the evenings, which I think is a great example to emulate.

I will never forget Uncle Kent and Aunt Carol and their unique qualities, and I am grateful for the role they played in my life. Rest in Peace.

Took me a while to get the words together. The memories I have of Aunt Carol and Uncle Kent I cherish. The trips down to see them, the laughs, the late night Sonic runs, and lunches at P.F. Chang’s. Aunt Carol took me charming Charlie’s where shel turned me onto “bling”! Uncle Kent started my addiction to Apple products, the hours we would spend finding new functions and geeking out over technology. The stories they used to tell me about our family, The memories we made together. It feels like yesterday I sat on the couch, shared by aunt Carol and the dogs, talking about everything and anything. Then moving over to the recliner, laughing with Uncle Kent, always a schnauzer in his lap. I miss you both deeply, you will be forever missed. As Uncle Kent and aunt Carol would always say… “Love you sweetheart”.

Uncle Kent and Aunt Carol - much love from the Bill Manby family - especially Uncle Kent and all the “Apple-bonding” you did with dad!  I know he has so many fond memories, we hope you are reminiscing about them together now…

You'll always be in my heart and memories, Kent and Carol. You were like second parents to me in college. Thank you for your love and support.
