Kim came back into my life, after 38 years apart, back in 2000 when my family and I spent time with Kim at the Stephens Ranch in Denver.
We went fishing, we talked and we did some drinking. Yep, we did some drinking! After 38 years apart, we had a lot of catching up to do! Certainly a night I wont forget anytime soon!
His laid back "been there, done that" approach made you feel welcome and honoured to be with him and call him brother.
He made my 2 boys feel especially welcome and Andrew regularly talks about going fishing with Kim.
It is not fair that you went too soon as I was still getting used to having a big brother
I WILL miss you, my big brother

Back in 1978 Kim and I were out getting liquored up in downtown Chicago. We parked his little yellow Datson pickup truck in a legal spot and at the end of the night came back to find it towed. When we made it to the impound lot, we were faced with the biggest, ugliest, tattooed ex con who would not budge an inch. Kim was all up in his face and finally said, "Does your mother know you're behaving like this?!" I hit the ground laughing and still laugh to this day! Love you Kim. See you soon brother.

Dear friend, my thoughts take me back to little league football with coach Winters. those were the days I think Reggie was one of our cheerleaders. I was at creighton jr high, you were at alameda, we dated the same girl in junior high " Linda Hanson" you moved to Green Mountain which put us in the same high school. I miss the afternoons and evenings at the townhouses you lived in, and we both had Hodaka dirt bikes where we terrorized the trails off 6th and Simms. You were the only friend I had that had a Harley and I was so envious and finally got the bug myself. The nights when you were
barenter at Gills lounge, Jeff Walters and I would come up and hang out with you and your dad, and we can't forget "moms hill". I'm going to miss you my friend and am thankful and gratefull for the impact you had on my life, and the lessons I have learned in our journey through life together where our paths crossed. My prayers are with your family.
