Kirstin was born third child of Stephen and Debra Deguara,she had two brothers Mathew John Deguara born 20th of June 1984 and Scott Andrew Deguara born 28th of March.1990.

Kirstin lived with her mum & dad and 2 brothers at their residence, 9 Thunderbolt Drive,Oak Valley.

Kirstin spent alot of her younger years at her Nana's (Olive Brown place at Oonoonba due to both her parents working.Kirstin was a very happy baby and toddler,loving every adventure,especially with older brother Scott,whom Nana also looked after.
 
At the age of 21/2 ,Kirstin was enroled at King Cole Kindergarden,McAlister Street,Oonoonba,her teacher was Sue ( Snell ) Kirstin stayed at Kindy for 2 years. 1996 - 1998

On the 21st of March ,1997,Kirstin became a sister to
Sonia Maree Deguara,whom she loved on site.
 
In 1998,Kirstin was enroled at Oonoonba State School Pre-School,where she attended for 2 years.

In 1999,Kirstin was enroled in grade 1  at now relocated Oonoonba State School,Oonoonba Road,Idalia,where she attended until grade 3.  Sonia had also been enroled in grade 1.

In 2003, Kirstin and Sonia were relocated to Stuart State School .
