I posted this on Facebook, but it feels right to put it here.
I miss my brother, Larry Hodges. I looked up to him all of my life. I never told him how much. To some people he wouldn't fit their standards or maybe just a little to southern for their taste. They might be afraid he would say something to offend someone. I'll tell you now, he was true to who he was and if you didn't like him he didn't care. He was strong with a big heart. We are southern proud! That's only one thing he taught me. I miss him and his jokes, his laugh and he made a mean cup of coffee lol. He could drive like a NASCAR driver! And he taught me he to drive lol!! He shot a mean game of pool! The stories I could tell lol. My brother Earl tried to keep him out of trouble...but he would tell you ya just can't lol. Of all of the things he was,he never thought he was better than anybody. He always included me and anybody else. He never turned away family, like some people do. I miss you Larry I will never say goodbye, I will say I'll see you later, alligator lol. Snoopy says she misses you too!! And thanks for accepting Sandy as the family she is! She never forgot what you said, "if you ever need anything you are family just let me know".
A conversation I would have loved to have had with him on earth. But I'm sure he knows how I feel. I miss him everyday. Love you brother, my Hero!!!!
