To one of my big brothers! I miss your laugh and your jokes. I miss watching you fix that big plate of food and eat it late at night. I miss our laughs at the dinner table and the arguing of who is the spoilest between you and pearl. I can honestly say you were my big brother before you were pearls. Lol!!

A Message of Love

Cynthia, my sister, my sounding board, my get it done girl!! I am so proud to call you my lifelong girlfriend!

We have been through so much together. My ups and downs as well as yours. Many family gatherings, laughs, tears and even escapes (wink-wink). The Lord has prepared us for all that lies ahead. You have reached that next hurdle. As my sister, I cry for you and your family in the loss of Larry. Know that my shoulders and my heart are encompassing you for additional strength. I also have tears of sadness. Oh, but when I look around and think of his goodness, I think of Larry Clabin Jr.

We know that we are all stationed here on this earth for just a short while. It is what we do while we are stationed here is what counts. Larry has gone through so much. Not only with his illness, but an unusual marriage as well. He is just like his mother, remained so strong, resilient, happy and full of love and life for all that was placed before him.

Although, his life was short, his testimony is long. He was a good husband, great son, awesome brother, a warm and caring grandson and a friend to many by the outpouring response of the slide show that you shared with me.

Larry fought a magnificent fight. His body became weary, his heart became heavy and longed for peace and rest. The Lord gave his soul a new direction, his GPS in now set for his final resting place, heaven. His zip code now is the beautiful rainbow that we see in the sky that has no beginning and no end. But I’d like to think that somewhere on the rainbow, Larry is sitting on the right hand of Jesus. His mail will now be received express/priority in prayers from all of us who think of him and loved him. I can just hear him say, ‘I am having a little talk with Jesus. He will continue to feel our love for him.
Cynthia, what a testimony you have within your life! You have cared for your family, friends, you make it your business to represent the family for all occasions. You truly have an outstanding legacy.

May the Lord comfort, keep and bring you peace.

Brother, although you're gone, you won't be forgotten. I'll forever carry you in my heart and memories.

My gosh how we had so many. You watched me grow from that annoying little sister that always wanted to tag along into a mother that you admired.

Part of me wishes you were still here and I'd still have time:
 >to argue with you about about absolutely nothing or how much junk
food you ate.
>Still have time to enjoy our Brother, Sister & Uncle dates
>Still have time to see you be an uncle to Dori, she loves and misses you so much.
>Still have time to hit the highway and bring you home with me for a weekend visit or family get together. We never turned on the radio, for we would always talk the whole way there and back. Those were 2 - 6hrs drives, boy will I miss that!
>Still have time to talk to you while I was working or on the elliptical.
>Still have time to call you and vent about Dad getting on my nerves or the funny things he says.

The other part of me knows that you are in a better place! You endured so much here on this earth in such a short time.

Now you get to be free! I'm pretty sure you're skating in heaven, but of course to gospel.

So pick up some speed and feel the wind on your face, but only sing if you know the words. I love you big bruda.

There will never be a first Nephew named Larry. I could not have asked for a more kinder, intelligent, polite and sweet nephew. I know you will be talking and I will be listening. Know that your work here on earth is done, and what a beautiful job you did. I love you my Nephew and remember you were first in my heart and will remain first in my heart. Rest In Heaven Neph  love you auntie Susie.

So many good memories flood my mind from our days singing together with the Madrigals. Being apart of an elite group that represented the BEST of Benton Harbor High school will forever be some of my best days. So grateful to have experienced that WINNING season with you. You will forever be, my BROTHER in SONG.

Son you blessed me, when you were born. You blessed me while you were visiting this earth. You also blessed everyone you met with your kind heart, sense of humor and words of wisdom.

During this time of trial and tribulations, the recipients of your blessing are blessing me with their love, kindness, support and prayers in abundance.  R.I.P. I miss you immensely!
