A Message of Love
Cynthia, my sister, my sounding board, my get it done girl!! I am so proud to call you my lifelong girlfriend!
We have been through so much together. My ups and downs as well as yours. Many family gatherings, laughs, tears and even escapes (wink-wink). The Lord has prepared us for all that lies ahead. You have reached that next hurdle. As my sister, I cry for you and your family in the loss of Larry. Know that my shoulders and my heart are encompassing you for additional strength. I also have tears of sadness. Oh, but when I look around and think of his goodness, I think of Larry Clabin Jr.
We know that we are all stationed here on this earth for just a short while. It is what we do while we are stationed here is what counts. Larry has gone through so much. Not only with his illness, but an unusual marriage as well. He is just like his mother, remained so strong, resilient, happy and full of love and life for all that was placed before him.
Although, his life was short, his testimony is long. He was a good husband, great son, awesome brother, a warm and caring grandson and a friend to many by the outpouring response of the slide show that you shared with me.
Larry fought a magnificent fight. His body became weary, his heart became heavy and longed for peace and rest. The Lord gave his soul a new direction, his GPS in now set for his final resting place, heaven. His zip code now is the beautiful rainbow that we see in the sky that has no beginning and no end. But I’d like to think that somewhere on the rainbow, Larry is sitting on the right hand of Jesus. His mail will now be received express/priority in prayers from all of us who think of him and loved him. I can just hear him say, ‘I am having a little talk with Jesus. He will continue to feel our love for him.
Cynthia, what a testimony you have within your life! You have cared for your family, friends, you make it your business to represent the family for all occasions. You truly have an outstanding legacy.
May the Lord comfort, keep and bring you peace.
