Larry, born Lawrence Hugh Arrington, Jr. in Portsmouth, Virginia to father Lawrence Hugh Arrington, Sr and mother Mildred Elizabeth Day Arrington. Larry grew up as the son of a Naval officer with three beautiful sisters Carol Ann, Linda and Patty.

Larry was a faithful father and grandfather. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Daniel and Melanie Arrington and their five children Shae, Zachary, Seth, Emily and Madison, his daughter Debbie Arrington and her son Marshall Evans, his grandchildren from his late daughter Donna Arrington, grandson Nick Hildebrand and his granddaughter Kristina and Donald Sidoti and many nieces and nephews. 

Larry is remembered as a loving, sweet, happy and generous man. Larry grew up in the Catholic church. Although he did not belong to a church, he confessed to be trusting in Jesus Christ in his final days.

He was battling cancer and kindney disease when he passed away at his home in Greenville South Carolina on Saturday January 2nd, 2016.
