Gods Plan
I know that God has a plan for us all. We just don't know how it will play out. Every person that you meet has some signifigance in your life.
Sonya was brought into my life by my nephew and her husband Aaron. I had the pleasure of planning their wedding. What a beautiful wedding it was. What a gorgeous bride she was. She knew just what she wanted. She really made my job as wedding planner easy. I have never seen two people happier than LaSonya and Aaron in the union of marriage.
I had the opportunity and the blessing of spending part of a day with Sonya 3 days before her passing. She was on my heart. I couldn't let another day go by without saying to her that I loved her. God granted me that day. Thank you Lord.
I took her daises in colors that reminded me of her..bright yellow ..for the sunshine in her smile...lime green..for her gigling sort of laughter..and fusia..for the compassion that I saw in her heart. I got to hold her, kiss her, and to tell her that I loved her. She gave me a smile and asked for some water so that she could talk to me. Weakly ,she said "hi Auntie". She took a yellow daisy in her hand and brought it up to her nose and said "they're beautiful".
She told me that she loved me too. Then she closed her eyes as I recited the 23 Psalm.
I will be in New York City for her homegoing, however, I know that God had a plan for us from beginning to end.
I would like to give special thanks to my nephew Aaron for letting that day happen and to say thank you for bringing Sonya into my life. I love you both sooooo much.
