Mr. Davidson was born October 10, 1954 in West Point, GA to the late Mildred Beach and Hugh Dorsey Davidson Sr.  

He was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church, West Point, GA.

“Jelly “, as he was known to many, received his education in the West Point Public School System.  He was a member of the 1972 graduating class of West Point High School.

Lawrence was preceded in death by four brothers, Hugh Dorsey Davidson, Jr., John Wesley Davidson, Billy Shepard Davidson, Sr., Earl Kelley Davidson.  

Mr. Lawrence D. Davidson leaves to cherish memories: four sisters, Rosa Pettigrew, Cleveland, Ohio, Virginia (Lon) Pettigrew, Chicago, Illinois, Lula (Thomas) Sands Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Kathy Bland, Columbus, Georgia, who was very devoted, and significant in his life; three brothers, Warren Davidson, Ralph Davidson, Cleveland, Ohio, and Monroe Davidson, West Point, Georgia; a devoted niece, Julia Slaughter and family of West Point, Georgia; a host nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and  friends.
