August 5, 2015

Mr. Price was born in Bainbridge, Georgia on December 25, 1946, the son of the late Paul Timothy Price and Vallie Ethel Chapman Price. He was a Christian by faith. He was well known and respected in Atlanta and the surrounding area through his company “Larry Price Interior Trim,” where he used his talented carpentry skills to enhance the beauty of the finish work of people’s homes. After his retirement he moved to Franklin, Georgia. While walking his little dog, ”Sassy” he made friends with many of the town’s people and obtained the nick-name of “the man who walked his little dog.” He was especially fond of the Franklin City Police Department Officers. He enjoyed having a vegetable garden and sharing the produce. Music was also a passion of both he and his wife. They spent much time playing and singing country music for many to enjoy. He was a wonderful husband and father, and he will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Velma Christian Blair Price of Franklin, GA.; two daughters, Toni Samples (Chris) of Hartwell, GA., and Pennie Fisher (Mark) of Palmetto, GA.; three sons, Darrell Blair (Beth) of Carrollton, GA, Bud Blair (Kym) of Franklin, Ga., and Ben Blair of Palmetto, GA.; sister, Becky Freeman (Don) of High Falls, GA.; and one brother, Tim Price (Linda) of Newnan, GA.; twenty-two grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren.
