Happy birthday Laurie we still talk about all the good times we all had with you and your family. Where have these 5 yrs gone . Thank you lord for all the good memories .

Browsing through the pictures today. Saw the one of the condo in Phoenix with the picture of Pinnacle Peak on the wall. Have completed the unfinished business mentioned in the previous tribute. His ashes were spread at Cave Creek Golf Club. Judy, Ryan and I then hiked up Pinnacle Peak and spread the rest of his ashes. I too miss him. I'm not much of a drinker but I think that today I may have a rye and water in his memory. He will always be in my heart.

Great way to tribute Laurie we talk of him lots especially on our coffee times can't believe it's been 4 yrs allready . Lots of great memories with Viv and Laurie and kids for sure lots of laughs. Miss him and all the good times .

I can't believe its been 3 yrs since lauri s passing . He was such a fun guy to b around we all had good times together. Lauri was hard worker he loved his family and friends . We talk of him lots at coffee. I will always remember  The good times with him and Vivian and there kids

Thinking of you Viviane, yesterday would have been our 65th anniversary, I guess the first ones are the toughest. Hope to see you this winter. Love to you and your family Marilyn

Dear Viviane and family, I just was thinking of you and our short time together in Plentywood, I was so glad to find Laurie's memorial and what a beautiful tribute to a good man. I hope this finds you all well and happy, I would love to hear from you. We are in Fortuna, Ca now . with love Lois and Deke

We had many good times with Laurie and Vivian in Arizona as well as red deer. Thinking of all of you this day, things are never the same after losing one of our love ones but have many great memories to cherish!! Love all you guys and am so grateful for Vivian's friendship

Laurie was such a special person, with a great sense of humor & we shared many laughs & good times whenever we got together. We were blessed to have known Laurie and Laurie was so blessed to have such a loving wife & family. Laurie left us with many wonderful memories & he will be missed by all who knew him. Thank you Laurie for being such a positve role model for my grandson, Shane.

What a wonderful tribute to a a father, husband and grandfather. I didn't know Laurie as well as I would have liked, but what I knew about him, he was a man that loved his family very much and cared deeply for Viviane who is my very special friend. His memory will live within our lives through Viviane, as we reminisce of days past. My thoughts will be with his family always.

Our greeting shaking hands. He'd say,"Salaam Alaikum." An Arabic greeting translated as "peace be with you." I'd say, "Ram-a-lang-a-ding-dong." A Lou greeting translated as "I'm glad you are part of my life." We still have unfinished business. I miss him dearly.

We did not have the pleasure of meeting Laurie until we purchased our unit in Phoenix. Remembering the card game "Helen" which were played many time times, strickly by the rules. Just like the golf game play the ball as it lies, was his trait. Wealso remember the happy hours together on our Hawai cruse. We will always remember him as a very dear friend,

This is so amazing! Thank you for creating such a lovely tribute to a man who was loved beyond words. Whenever he answered the phone- I'd ask "how are you" he would always say "Just grreat!! How can you forget someone who had such passion for life? He was such an awesome brother in law!! His memory will remain forever in our hearts & mind.
