So many memories. To share just one is almost impossible. We were always close. She was lots of fun to be around. Instead of a story I will tell you what makes me think of her. For each of these things I have several memories. She loved her fast cars and big trucks, country music, Elvis and the color blue! Gardening and flowers. Bingo and yardsales. Curly perms and Aigner purses. Salvation Army Thrift Store shopping aka Sats on fifth! Wiener dogs. Homemade noodles. Fenton Art glass and auctions. Dancing and snapping her fingers! Curse words and dirty language. Skinny jeans and pantyhose.. HAHA. Days of our Lives, Knight Rider and Dallas! Waiting tables with her at the Holiday Inn. Eating dinners at her house were amazing and trust me I ate hundreds of them there and I'm not exaggerating. My earliest childhood memories almost always include her and my Uncle Dave. I spent every holiday with them for decades! Winter coats and winter sleds. Christmas Lights and lots of presents. Colorfully painted rooms. Dale Earnhardt and Dwight Yocum. Sweet Tea and Tavern Hams. Chevy Berettas & Iroc Z's. Mud Bogs and Truck Pulls. Drag racing, drag racing and more drag racing! Milk with ice cubes. Tinted glasses and painted fingernails. Lipstick and year round tans! All these come with stories! And that's jjust off the top of my head. She is a big part of me and always will be, right down to my middle name. I miss her and always will because nobody could ever fill her spot. She was one of a kind! ❤️
