First corporate gig after earning his JD.  

Harvard Law School was never the same after Len breezed through Boston and then the New York State bar exam.   We think he studied a few times, but there are no witnesses to these historic occasions. :-)

His Poughkeepsie years forever behind him, Len moved full speed ahead to Union College in Schenectady, NY.  Len received his undergraduate degree in Political Science.  

During his undergraduate studies,  Len participated in internships in both the House of Commons in London and as an aide for Louisiana Senator Long in Washington, DC.

While at Union, Len was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa academic honors society and graduated with the distinction summa cum laude.  

Len attended Roy C. Ketcham High School in Wappingers Falls, NY.  An avid soccer player, Len played for his high school and for the Town of LaGrange for many years.

Len attended Van Wyck Junior High School in Wappingers Falls, NY for 7th through 9th grades. 

Len, then more commonly known to family and friends as Lenny, attended Vassar Road Elementary and Oak Grove Elementary schools.

Len's Dad, Marty, accepted a position with Big Blue in Poughkeepsie, NY. Phyllis & Marty and their three children, Howard, Leonard and Shari, would call Poughkeepsie "home" for the next 34 years.

Leonard Arthur Cohen was born in Manchester, Connecticut on October 16, 1964 to Martin & Phyllis Cohen. Big brother Howard awaited at home.
