We have lost a great and honorable man this past week.
Len was a good steward in our community and involved in more organizations than I can name.
No obituary has been written as of yet.
How can you write up one's life in a couple of paragraphs to describe how a person lived?
Especially of one like Leonard McGhee's life?
Len always said "altitude breeds attitude."
I've googled for this quote but can't find who said it. Maybe it was Len's own special words.
Maybe he got it from Winston Churchill who said "Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference"
Len was a "good" friend to all, not just a friend. He was unique and captured that part of your heart that shared the goodness that Len possessed.
Len lived to the fullest.
It was always a grand party when he was around.
He loved a good time, and always made you feel special.
He was dignified and well mannered in all he did.
I believe his last breath on this earth was a big one.
To inhale all that life can give you one last time.
Rest in peace, my dearest friend. (I know you and Louis have a lot of catching up to do.)
"Somebody should tell us, right at the start of our lives, that we are dying. Then we might live life to the limit, every minute of every day. Do it! I say. Whatever you want to do, do it now! There are only so many tomorrows."
– Pope Paul VI, Italian Pope (1897 - 1978).
