To Leslie's family,

As a participant in the Encore and After Encore program I came to know Leslie through our breast cancer struggles in common.

Always with a smile on her face, Leslie was the first one in the locker room and into the pool. Even when she was no longer able to participate in the program, Leslie communicated that she looked forward to returning as soon as she was able.

One evening a number of us including Leslie met at David's Tavern to listen to another member of our group who is a musician. We all had a wonderful evening- I will remember Leslie that evening with a smile on her face in the company of friends.

As is common when people share a common bond, Leslie shared details of her life, both positive and difficult. I admire her strength and calm in the face of her struggles.

Leslie's passing has left a void in our group- she will always be remembered and missed.

I hope she us still dancing wherever she may be.
