I went and found a balloon today that matched the ones I decorated your garage with on that special Father's Day. I got this blue balloon filled with helium and a white ribbon tied around it's base.  I then took a little drive to the ocean and walked until I found the perfect place. Along the way I didn't find any stray wallets that washed a shore like you and I found that sunny day.  I spent some time writing  a secret message of hope and renewal, then tied it to the balloon.  I knew this message of love would be heard as it was carried straight to you.  I closed my eyes and smiled with thoughts of you, as I watched the wind wildly carrying it away.  It was pretty windy and it travelled really fast - and in the same direction to right where you are..........It may just reach you after all!!!!  When I was done watching it dance towards the sky and out of sight I went and drew in the sand this heart with "Daddy" inside.  It was just on the edge of the water where you and I used to walk and this will always be the place where you and I can talk.  So keep an eye out for a blue balloon - it's filled with your kid's Love and treasures too!!!!

As a kid I looked up to this man thinking he was equal to that of Hugh Beaumont.

I thought he was Bing Crosby.
